Our typographic view on the abstract numbers involved in the 2008 bailout
We designed this poster for the Type Directors Club ‘Numbers’ project (2009) and focused on the abstract numbers involved in the 2008 bailout.
“Numbers are mighty powerful. But they can also make our eyes can glaze over–especially when the numbers are in the billions and trillions. To liven things up, the TDC has invited a group of ultra-talented designers (James Victore, Strange Attractors, Deb Bishop, Matteo Bologna, and Roberto de Vicq de Cumptich to name a few) to create a series of posters with numbers as their central theme.”
